Join us for our annual meeting at the Owen County Extension Office. A delicious catered meal will be served by Sisterly touch Catering. Our guest speaker will be Bob Stewart. Bob is with the Frankfort-Franklin County Tourism Commission Board and the former Secretary of the Tourism, Arts and Heritage Cabinet. Tickets are $38 (+tax) and available at People’s Bank.
Chamber Marketplace is an event designed as a shopping opportunity and a chance to showcase all that our community has to offer. We want merchants, service providers, food service vendors, crafters, nonprofits…we want EVERYONE! Our hope is to bring visitors from other areas to this event, also.
This event will be DISCOUNTED to all Chamber of Commerce members. Current members will receive a 50% discount on their booth or table space.

Our annual Fall Festival. Kick off the day with a 5K Fun Run/Walk followed by a delicious Pancake Breakfast hosted by Owen County Rotary. The day continues with with vendors, food, live music, cornhole tournaments, and kids zone. Join us again on Sunday for more vendors and Hymn Sing.
Chamber Marketplace is an annual event held at the Owen County High School. It’s holiday shopping opportunity that features our local merchants and makers as well as some from surrounding communities This event also showcases Owen County’s service providers and offers food.
Sweet Owen Day in Owen County’s annual fall festival. Held every year on the third Saturday in September, it hosts retail vendors, food vendors, musical entertainment. The day begins with a Pancake Breakfast sponsored by the Rotary Club and a 5K Fun Run Walk. There is also a kids zone with games and inflatables as well as a Cornhole Tournament. The event is held around the courthouse square.
Another annual event (this year held on August 15th at 7 AM) that shows our appreciation for all of those that touch the lives of our young people in Owen County at the school district. Teachers, administrators, teacher assistants, food service workers, janitorial, maintenance and transportation staff are all recognized the day before school starts by providing a breakfast and a small token of our appreciation. The entire school district looks forward to this event each year.
The July monthly meeting will be held on Tuesday, July 25th at 7:15 AM at the Smith House. PLEASE make sure to RSVP (just reply to me through e-mail) before 10 AM on Monday, July 24th. Our speaker will be Judge Executive Casey Ellis with the "State of the County" address.
